Elegant Autumn wedding at Chelsea Town Hall & Scotts of Mayfair

Real Wedding | Margot & Jonathan

Back in October 2020, just as restrictions were starting to tighten up again and the goalposts were moved from 30 to 15 people weddings, Margot & Jonathan decided they couldn’t wait any longer and were going to do it anyway. The pandemic has changed the way weddings are run, and plans can change at the last minute. One of the first things they did was hire superstar planner, Cherelle at Perfectly Planned 4 You.

Wedding planners aren’t just for bigger weddings, they can also act as your crisis limiter in the run up to and during your wedding. A wedding planner is also objective when it comes to making tough decisions and will always have you and your partner at the centre of every decision they make. Cherelle did such a brilliant job pulling M&J’s wedding together in record time, and particularly with smaller weddings, the details are everything.

Starting with the invitations, Margot & Jonathan chose the pretty celestial beauty of the “stars at night” design in my customisable wedding invitation suite. As it was a micro-wedding, we all felt it was super-important to make the invitations feel very special for the guests they were able to invite, so we went all out with beautiful gold modern calligraphy on the envelopes and finished with an elegant wax seal.

Ink & Paper also provided letterpress menus and calligraphy place cards for the on-the-day stationery: luxurious white cardstock with a deep letterpress emboss paired with elegant black and gold place settings. The tables were perfectly styled by Cherelle at Perfectly Planned 4 You and completed with gorgeous black and white floral arrangements from London Wedding Florist Boom Blooms. The elegant, modern cake was by Simon’s Bakery.

Congratulations on tying the knot Margot & Jonathan, and what a stunning London micro wedding. It was such a joy to be asked to create your luxury wedding invitations and stylish on the day stationery for you.
